Causes of child labor

International Labour Organization  suggests poverty is the greatest single cause behind child labour.
The raising space between the rich and the poor.Lack of quality education has also contributed to children dropping out of school and entering the labor force.

Excess population and Poverty: 

Based on 2005 U.N. figures , greater than one-fourth of the world's people live in extreme poverty.Poverty causes parents to send out their children to harmful jobs. Even though they know it's not fine, they have no other substitute as they need to have the money.Almost all of the Asian , African and Latin American countries are overpopulated. Caused by limited resources and more mouths to feed, children are employed in various sorts of work.

Illiteracy:

 Illiterate mother and father do not realize the importance for the proper bodily, psychological and also cognitive advancement of the child. As they are generally uneducated, they do not understand the benefits of education and learning for their kids.

Unemployment : 

Elders usually find it hard to obtain a job. The industrialists and factory masters choose to hire the ''children'' more than the adults because they are cheaper than their adults counter parts over population.They will also not produce union issue.

Bad Education System:

The education system of the present age should be very fast , sufficient and advance.But these qualities are not present in the present education system.The education system doesn't support the parents but it increase the burden of need of more money.

• A student in the age of 16 can't earn anything for his family because he has no skill in any work. 
• He can't work at any institute at a proper position. 
• The education institute offer no scholarship to him.
• The present education system is disable to determine the passion and interest of the student and  also not let them to know their interests.
• The education system is a business for the owners. 

All these defects are also contributing in increasing the child labor.

Orphan Children:

Children delivered from wedlock, children with no moms and dads in addition to relatives, frequently will not find one to assistance all of them. Thus they are forced to be effective for his or her personal residing.

Child Labor in World

Child labor refers to the employment of children in an industry or business, especially when illegal or considered exploitative. Child labor is harm for child because it keeps them away from attending school. It causes mental, physical, moral and social harm to children.There is present and future of these children.There is only work work and work in their life.There is a lot of responsibilities on their shoulder even very low age the age of which is we called childhood. Like a fatal disease it is present not only in developing countries but also in developed countries. Every government , Engo and Welfare organizations saying that they are doing work against the child labor and in past they have done it well. Then Why there is  child labor is still present??? Why the quantity of child labor is still increasing continuously???

Child labor is not a problem only for a government , nation , engo, welfare organization , or  for a person it is alarming situation for the whole world because with every child the present and future of the country and nation is connected.

There is different types of reason for a child to do work as a child labor but the one thing is common that is the poverty. Yes the poverty is the main reason. The poor  countries has highest rank of child labor than those developing and developed. In developing and developed countries there are many reasons for a child to do labouring but the poverty is common in all here also. Poverty is the root of numerous issues. The one victims of which is these innocent children.  Poverty and hunger has take n away their every happiness. They are deprived of basic facilities and requirement like home conservation , clothes , nutrition, education , health , social association etc. We see many children in our daily life who are made to work in glass factories , carpet industries , hotels , child care centers ,they clean the road. These children also not allowed to have contact with the outside world. These children have no chance to attend the schools , to celebrate festivals and functions , to make friends , to act upon the voice of their hearts. these children are not paid far their labor and are kept as apprentices. Child labors are compelled to live below poverty line all their lives. There are many laws against child labor in world  but these laws alone cannot control the exploitation of children. We must get the support of all the people of the society to control this curse.According to the law, no child below the age of fourteen can be employed in any hazardous job. Another law states that children should not be made to work beyond their capacity and they should be given opportunities and facilities to develop in a healthy manner. However, all these laws have failed to check the problem of child labor. Stringent laws should be enacted and exemplary punishment should be given to those who exploit children for their selfish end.
