Here i'm going to share some stories of child labour from all over the world. These stories are not of some child only but these children are actually representing million of other children those are just like them. The survey that i did on child labour provide me a basic reason behind child lanour that is poverty. Other reasons are also presents which are the education system. The education system plays vital role in the economy of a country.
Story of Jit Lal Tamamg
"Everything is possible but nothing is possible without money. I feel money is very important because i'm poor." A poor child labour ,who is a microbus conductor , told us that he is of about 12 years.He has Mother , Father ,elder sister , younger sister and younger brother. He miss his family but his family is far far away from him. He said further that "I miss my cousin Kumar because he's my best friend too. I can't meet him because he is in the village and i'm here in city to work. I live in a house and i pay rent of it with my earnings. The rent is Rs. 700. I eat meal at 9 O'clock then lunch at 3 pm and i go hungry to the bed because i have no money at night to buy dinner.I'm also sad to come here in the city from my lovely village. i was in class 5 but i left my studies because i'm poor. "
This children was representing 2,200 childrens only from Khatmandu valley Nepal.
Story of Bimal Balokhe
Bimal Balokhe is a 13 years old boy lives in Falbari , Karee Nepal. He works in a hotel. He left his home because his family was so poor that can't afford his food even of two times. He now lives in a hotel. He told us that he has to work for 8 hours a day and 6 days a week.He is in hotel with his friends and he don't feel alone. At night he put the table to gather and sleep on them. He earns $ 20 per month Rs. 1600-1700. He left his school just due to poverty and he want to join it again. Because he likes to get knowledge. He want to open a store in future.
This children was representing only 21,500 children in Nepal.
Story of Raj Kumar Nepali
He is 16 years old boy from Undayapur Nepal. He carries load at Kalimati vegetable market. It's been 2 years since he has started work. He wakes up at 4 am. He work till 10 am.Then he make food and eat. He come back again at 3'o clock. He works 7 days a week His weight is 40 kg and he carry up to 50 kg . He lives in Teku. His brother and father do the same work. In the village there a mother , sister in law , elder sister , younger sister and five brothers. He make about Rs. 200-300 ($ 2.50 - 4.00 ) per day. He gives this money to his father . His father apys off loans. He also told us that no forced him for work. He works because of his own will.He said '' I don't like to go to school so i left the school." From 10 AM to 3 PM he chat to his friends his friends drink alcohol but he doesn't.This children is representing more than 46,000 child labours who do the same work.
